PSTM certificate means Person Studied in Tamil Medium Certificate.
TNPSC has introduced a reservation for aspirants who have studied in Tamil Medium. Note here that, it doesn’t mean you have taken Tamil as a subject while studying but as a medium for all subjects. So shortly it is only for Tamil medium students.
When filling the application form for any TNPSC group exams there will be an option to choose whether you have studied in Tamil Medium (PSTM). To prove you have studied only in Tamil Medium you should get a cetificate from your School or College.
There is 20% reservation for PSTM certificate.
This should be chosen while filling the application form. You need not to enter any other details about PSTM certificate so you can also get PSTM certificate after submitting the application. But it is strongly recommended to get PSTM certificate as soon as possible.
The form for PSTM is provided in English by TNPSC. But you can also fill in Tamil language.
